Kennedy Library to Host Talk on Collaborations in Architecture and Engineering

Clare Olsen, assistant professor at Cal Poly, and Sinead Mac Namara, assistant professor at Syracuse University,will discuss their book, “Collaborations in Architecture and Engineering,” at10 a.m. Friday, May 29, in Kennedy Library, Room 111H. A question-and-answer session will follow. The talk is part of the Conversations with Cal Poly Authors series at Kennedy Library. The event is free and open to the public. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. Copies of the book will be available for sale. Recordings of past talks in the series are available as podcasts on the Kennedy Library SoundCloud site. Giving to the CAED

Students in the ARCH 241 - Architectural Technology Fundamentals class display their custom-designed and handmade bricks. With the support of WRNS Architects in San Francisco, the class traveled to Pacific Clay in Lake Elsinore to make the bricks, after firing, they were shipped up to Cal Poly.
