Landscape Architecture Exhibit Designs for University House in Kennedy Library

May 05,2015

Students in Ellen Burke's LA 405, "Project Design and Implementation Focus" studio are exhibiting their designs for University House, the President's Residence, May 4 - 15, 2015, in the first floor gallery of Kennedy Library. At the invitation of President and Mrs. Armstrong, the LA 405 studio redesigned the landscape of University House with the goal of reducing water use for irrigation. Student designs also incorporate creation of habitat, storm water management, and carbon sequestration. The exhibit, " University House Redux," is free and open to the public.
