The
CAED Hay Media Resource Center is an integral part of the support system
for the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. Its collections'
resources accommodate the study, research and teaching needs of the faculty
and students in the College. The CAED Resource Center also serves the
entire Cal Poly community for related study, interdisciplinary work and
cultural enrichment.

Currently,
the Media Resource Center has five networked Macintosh stations
for student use (including three iMacs and one G3) with Netscape
access to Polycat, Melvyl, Avery Index of Periodicals, Buildings
Online, Architects' First Source Online and other internet links
on the subjects of architecture and the building sciences.

Student
access to MRC computers is on a first come first serve basis. |

In
addition, the Center has two Nikon LS1000 slide scanners available
for staff and one for College faculty and students to scan their slides
for portfolios, lecture presentations and course web page development. |

A
photocopier is available for student use in 8.5"x11" and
11"x17" paper sizes. Photocopies are $0.10 apiece. |
