Server Connection Guidelines from a Windows Computer

These servers are not backed up and get wiped out and cleared off every July 1st.

Step 1
In Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer on the Address line type
(including the back slashes):
\\caed1.calpoly.edu

Step 2
The User Name is "caedshared" and Password is "caedshared"

Step3
Create your own folder in your department's "Shared" folder with your Cal Poly email User Name as the folder name. If these directions are not followed, the folder will automatically be deleted by the server.
